press event in the
Republic of Gamers
Based on this concept, the journalists, athletes and professional gamers invited were given a QR-coded plastic card as a “passport” to the event, allowing them to register for the “Republic of Gamers” on a microsite and enter their own nicknames to be used at different programs at the event.
The location was set up at the Millenáris event venue, where participants were able to test their skills in a number of offline activities.
They could also listen to panel discussions and follow the leaderboards of the programs live on a projector. The event took place in a great atmosphere and the press coverage was also positive.
We filmed throughout the event, and the final cut of the video was sent to the journalists as early as the morning after the event, so they could use it in the press coverages.
